Group Assignment

I really dont see the point of lecturers giving group assignment when only a few of the members doing work. I know everyone face the same problem. But whats the point?
Preparation or training to work in groups. Yaya, that is if only everyone co-operates..

Seriously i wont give and dont like to give people free rides. Why should I do all the job and you sit there and you also get the same marks as me?
I want everyone to do their part because this is also their marks for the course paper.
This semester's group assignment are like shit.

For my Marketing Managament (MM) assignment is the worst. We're suppose to do a marketing plan for BOH Plantation Sdn Bhd. This assignment is not easy. Because we have to imagine that we're the marketing manager for BOH and come out with a plan for the coming years. Its not like the other assignments where we can goggle and paste everything.

This assignment we have 6members.
Terbahagi kepada :
A - me and another two more friends
B - two guys frm BBA
C -another marketing girl

Assignment due date is 30 Sept by 12pm, 30% for my course marks

BOH plantation is not an international listed company like Lipton or Nestle. This company has a histrory of 80years and its a malaysian brand. The founder is an AMO lang.. Although BOH do exports to other countries but then they dont post out their annual reports because they dont have a market share.

My lecturer told me that this assignment we have to do it based on our knowledge. She even told me that why dont you go up to Camerons and get more info. I was like what the hell, im a degree student only k.. What if i choose LG, meaning i have to fly to korea?

Before raya break, i wanted to have a group meeting and B said that they went back to Kuching d. Then they said we have already done our part. How are you suppose to know which part is yours when there's meeting yet. We havent divide who's part to do and they said they did their part already. Obviously they took the easy part.
NVMla...FINE!
They forward to me their part and i read through...
Its all copy and paste.. tak boleh pakai langsung.
SO, i email back to them, explaining their part-briefly what is needed in this marketing plan, which part is missing, which part to add on and all... wishing they could redo. i said in the email "my friends and i can see that you put a lot of effort in it but its too details on the company background already, can you summarize it?" dam polite towards them d. and i gave them a DEADLINE too. 19 Sept

So i went back for my raya break.
I didnt message them on the 19th but i waited until 20th. They replied my message saying its not done yet.
Okie i said NVM... but i asked them to asap because they're doing the first part. Meaning C have to refer to B work. AND A have to read through everything and make a conclusion.

I gave them two more days to finish.
On the 22nd i message them.
B replied :
"Can you pls dont push me anymore? I have other assignments and exam also. I wanted to study but cannot because i havent finish the assignment. why dont you push the other member? I already trying my best to do it. I do alot of reseach but i only get abit of information. If you want fast then you help me findla. "

WHAT THE HELL man!!!
TRYING to compare who is MORE BUSY is it?

Then i replied
"I know, i also feel dam bad for pushing you and everything. but you're doing the first part and we cant start our work if you havent finish yours. i also have two projects running after raya and assignments that have to hand in also. that's why i trying to get this project done asap. why didnt message me and tell which part you cant find and i can help you out rite? afterall, this is also my project, my marks for the paper. i know everyone wanna enjoy their holiday also that's why i divide the part fairly to everyone. so which part you cant finish?"

After that, I google and email B the thing. I didnt help B to do but AGAIN i explained how to do it. What should he include and all........

I also email C telling her that she can start working on her part especially that SWOT analysis which has nothing to do with the B's part..

After that i came back to Uni after raya.
I met B in class on monday, 28th and then i asked him. (2more days before due date)
He said he havent finish yet.
Then i said no matter what you what to give me by today because you're doing the first part and we havent even start our work.
B said "yaya..i also very tension now. ill email you after my night class.."
i replied "okie sure sure..we're having night class also."

After night class, 11plus i checked my email. Nvr email me. Then i called B then he start asking how to do this and that... THEN i explained again to B. And then i remind him to summarize the company background cause its too detail.

2am,
B msged me
"i email you the financial obj already and the target market i will try to do it, so not sure can give me onot."

THEN my friend help me replied
"Dont try your best. You must do it. Coz nw all of us r watiing 4 ur work 2 complete our assignment"

B replied
"Pls dun keep pushing me la. No advantage 4 all of us! u will just make everyone tension u know?"

B USED the term "PUSHING HIM" agAiN!

Srsly i cannot tahan d then i replied
"you think i wanna push you wan is it? i gave you two weeks to finish your part. tonight is the last night already you cannot give me the thing is it? im already very patience with you guys already. i making everone tension? after you pass up your part then you're done d. you wanna change role is it? you come do editing la. you have to freaking read the wholeassignment k then have to write out the executive summary and conclusion and then come out with something creative for the company k. and wed is the due date d. imagine you're in my shoes now. you go think about it la."

Then he nvr reply d.
OMG this is my first time argued with someone i dunno because of assginment.

Then i told my friends that if you nvr email me by 29th morning. im kicking B out of them group.
C did a wonderful work on SWOT analysis. There's no headache on the SWOT analysis.

29th morning, i checked my email and i saw B work. Nothing but rubbish. I didnt kacau my other two friends because they're having KOREAN oral so i just stayed in my room and editing their work and start to do abit conclusion.

12am,
C passed the rest of her work then she asked my friend to check cause she wanna sleep d. =.=!!
(as a part of the group member cant you help? its your marks also what? although its not your part but then we also covering the B's part right?)
that time my friend was busy editing and doing everything B's work and she just said that if cannot use then we'll cover d cause we have no time d..

4am,
DONE with B's part, Then we checked C's work.
Its useless.. We have redo everything again.
(Raining dam heavy that time, we stayed in the pantry to finish to project because roommates sleeping..with the wind blowing and all its dam super scary..!!)

6.30am,
We managed to finish the whole project that night itself. WE did everything by ourselves.. A B and C's work.. Which the B took two weeks but nothing came out. C took effort but one small part we took and the rest went out of topic.
I was dam happy when we doing the TABLE OF CONTENT.

30th Sept
11am,
missed my thai class because i couldnt wake up... LOL
My friends went and hand in the assignment without me

12.30pm,
Went for my Consumer Behaviour class.
DID our presentation in the class, thank god we prepared this presentation before raya
no one in the class listened but my lecturer said our presentation was very good and she's giving us full marks. WooHOOO!!

THAT night, I see the importance of having a broadband. ANd im really grateful and i know i didnt make a wrong decision buying it.
That night, without broadband it is impossible to do anything.
